Since school, I've been... Graduated from UNL in the fall of 1997 with a degree in English Lit. Met my husband Eric that same semester. After he graduated in 1999, we moved to Tempe, AZ. I've been writing 'full-time' since then. Currently, Eric and I are collaborating on a large science fiction project.

My family: Parents and brother still live in Omaha. Here in Tempe, it's me and Eric and a few in-laws. No kids, not planning on any.

Life experiences: Whoa, greatest life experiences? That's a pretty heavy category, and I'm only 32 years old. One would be surviving between 1998 and 2000 on a very tight budget and still paying off my college loans. Boring, huh? Well, it's something I'm proud of doing, and something I like knowing I can do. Budgeting is a very underrated thing. Two would be seeing the ocean. Sounds small, but I feel at home near the ocean even though I've spent my entire life in-land.

My favorite things in school: Grades. Seriously. I liked deadlines and immediate feedback and knowing what would come next. That's rare in the rest of life, especially when working in publishing.

My favorite things now: I love playing ultimate frisbee. Might seem strange for someone like me to now love a sport, but it's so much fun and so good for me. Aside from that, there's the usual mix of reading and movies and music take up my time. And the occasional computer game.

My favorite books, movies and music: Too many to name. Good stuff recently: Inside Man, Poe's lastest album, Frank Herbert's Dune series.
