Biographical information:

Since school, I've been... After high school, I joined the Marine Corps and recieved an honorable discharge in 2002. While I was in the Marines I was able to continue playing football with a semi-pro team in Jacksonville, NC. After I got out I stayed in Jacksonville and continued playing football, working, and going to college, oh yeah, and meeting my wife. In Jan. 2004 I moved to her hometown of Carlyle, IL about an hour east of St. Louis and played for yet another semi-pro team in Belleville, IL. A few more concussions and two national titles later I decided to hang up the helmet for good after the 2006 season. In Oct. 2004 I started my own business in the mortgage industry and at our height serviced all of Missouri and Illinois. I married my wife Kris in May of 2006, in Cancun, and we had our daughter, Jacie Lynn Persing in March 2007, then following closely there after we had our son Zack Timothy Persing in June of 2008. In March of 2008 I sold my company because of the downswing in the housing market. I now own an insurance franchise with Conseco Health, and all is going well.

My family: Wife- Kris, married May 4, 2006 Daughter- Jacie Lynn, born March 13, 2007 Son- Zack Timothy, born June 12, 2008

Life experiences: My greatest life experience is a toss-up between the birth of my kids, the sale of my business, and marrying my wife!!!

My favorite things in school: Football, Swimming, Jock Block, hangin' at Bobby Golden's party den, and of course..... Cigarettes....lol

My favorite things now: Watch sports, play with my kids, and hang out with friends

My favorite books, movies and music: Tommy Boy, Remember the Titans, Major League, Caddyshack, Casino, and Scarface...off the top of my head.
