Since school, I've been...
I graduated from Creighton University with an Accounting Degree. I lived in Omaha until 2000 and moved to sunny Phoenix, Arizona and left friends and family behind. Never in my right mind would I have ever moved to a place that I did not know one person, but I did. I continued on with my education and received a Master's in Management Information Systems and hoping to sit for the CPA exam sometime in 2009. I am currently an IT Audit for a great organization. I have the flexibility to travel internationally and work from my home office. We are currently planning on moving back to Omaha with our daughter since the Midwest is a great place to raise a family. We just received our season tickets to the Nebraska Cornhuskers but we are not going to be able to hoot the Huskers on this year. Maybe by next year we will be settled in. I am crossing my fingers. |
My family:
I met my wonderful husband - Bill - here in Phoenix. Together, we have one 3 year old daughter - Skylar Lynn and I have a daughter - Ashlie Rose who is eleven-years old. |
Life experiences:
My greatest life experiences is being a wonderful wife and mother of two children - Ashlie and Skylar. I have enjoyed traveling with world for my job. I gave gone to Australia, UK, India, and France. |
My favorite things in school:
Honestly, I enjoyed not having a care in the world and no responsibilities that would hold me back. |
My favorite things now:
I enjoy golfing and hiking. Since living in Arizona, you must enjoy golf since I am surrounded my many gorgeous golf resorts and great mountains locally to hike. I am such a Nebraska Cornhuskers fan and watch each game that is televised when possible. I have actually converted my husband, who hated the Huskers at one time, as being as fan as well. |
My favorite books, movies and music:
The Notebook, My Best Friend's Wedding and The Titanic are by far my favorite movies. I recently saw The Dark Knight and frankly this movie was the first Batman movie that I have ever saw. During the years, my taste in music has not changed - still remain a huge Kenny Chesney fan along with the old 80's bands such as Poison, U2, and Def Leopard. |
